The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles will wrap up the 2021 regular season and Saturday’s Week 18 doubleheader when they go head to head at Lincoln Financial Field. Both of these clubs have already clinched a playoff berth while the Cowboys secured the NFC East title a few weeks ago. With that in mind, there isn’t much on the line for these two teams outside of wanting to get the better of their division rival. However, the Cowboys could be motivated to play this game at full speed as they could climb from the No. 4 seed to the No. 2 seed in the NFC. Meanwhile, Philly can’t finish any higher than the No. 6 seed.
In this space, we’ll specifically be looking at the different betting angles that this matchup has on deck for us. We’ll be taking a look at how the lines have shifted throughout the week leading into Saturday night and, of course, give you our picks for this game along with a handful of our favorite player props.

Latest Odds: Philadelphia Eagles +4
The spread has gone through quite the roller coaster over the course of the week. This number opened at Cowboys -3.5 and sunk to 1.5-points last Sunday night. From there, this total started to creep back up and grew as high as Cowboys -7 with news coming in that they would play their starters in the finale. Since reaching the touchdown threshold, this number began to fall again as it has now come down 2.5 points to Cowboys -4 as of Friday.
The pick: Cowboys -4. If this was sitting at 7 points, I’d probably be inclined to lean with the Eagles. However, with it being under the touchdown threshold, I don’t have a problem laying the points and rolling with Dallas, especially considering it has more motivation in this matchup. If things fall a certain way, the Cowboys can secure home-field advantage through the divisional round, which is motivation enough. As for Philly, it can’t move up in the seedings and may be better served getting some rest before the playoff run.
Key trend: Cowboys are 7-1 ATS in their last eight road game.
Over/Under total
The total has jockeyed around some, but not to the level of the spread. It fell to 40.5 on Sunday after opening at 45, but has since jumped up to 43.5 as of Friday.
The pick: Over 43.5. Again, motivation on Dallas’ side of things is the key point. If the Cowboys are intent on playing their starters and treating this as a typical game, they have the offensive firepower to get us 75% of the way there on this total. Earlier this season, these two teams combined for 62 points. The Cowboys have also scored over 20 points in six straight games coming into Saturday. Meanwhile, the Eagles are averaging 28.5 points per game over this four game winning streak and will not have to face star Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons, who is on the COVID-19 list, and CB Trevon Diggs.
Key trend: Over is 4-0 in the Eagles last four home game.
