New Music Friday: Jim Jones, EST Gee, Hit-Boy, Ty Dolla $ign & Big Hit and more

he Weeknd‘s highly anticipated album Hurry Up Tomorrow arrived Friday, but it is not the only release. Here are some of the latest to hit the culture:

Jim Jones has released “JOMO,” a diss track about fellow Dipset member Cam’ron, following a few exchanges over the last few weeks. The renewed beef started in late 2024 when Cam interviewed 50 Cent and brought up the time Jones betrayed him and performed with 50. Jones then appeared on The Download podcast, where he claimed Mase mistreated Cam after he was signed to Bad Boy. Cam then fired back on his It Is What It Is podcast, alleging Jones is not really from Harlem and taking credit for his ability to rap.

Hit-Boy, Ty Dolla $ign and Big Hit urge people to “Slow Your Roll” when romanticizing the streets. “The ghetto’s so cold. Everything glitter ain’t gold,” Ty sings in the hook. Footage of them working on the song is included in the new music video.

The F*** A Friend Zone collaborators Jacquees and DeJ Loaf reunite for “Favorite One,” in which they express why their partner is their “favorite one” and list the things they’re willing to do them for them. A visualizer was also shared to YouTube.

Larry June, 2 Chainz and The Alchemist come together and trade bars on the new song “I Been.” It’s a preview of their upcoming Life is Beautiful album, arriving Feb. 7.

EST Gee dropped his new album, I Ain’t Feeling You, featuring Veeze and Rylo Rodriguez, as well as Travis Scott and Lil Baby, who appear on the song “Houstonatlantaville.” There are 12 tracks on the album.
