King Pusha T isn’t missing a beat when it comes to interacting with his fans during these days of self-quarantining days. Complex reports that the Virginia rapper revealed he’s working on three new projects during an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session with fans via Discord.
“I’m actually working on three projects right now,” he said, according to Complex. “So, you know, with everything that’s going on in the world right now, of course, we’re not all together. But I’m well in on my next project.”
As for features, he said, “It’s looking kind of selfish right now, to be honest…I got a lot to say, man. A lot has went on. A lot to address.”
Later, Pusha shared that he worked on four or five of the nine beats Tyler, the Creator sent him, but revealed that they’re not experimental like Tyler’s Grammy-winning album IGOR.
“I make him go straight hip-hop, like, full-fledged. It’s full ignorance…I don’t wanna experiment,” Pusha explained.
He also teased a “hard drive full of gems,” which may including possible production from Madlib.
“We’re cooking,” he said. “That’s really all I can really say about it…You know, with me and producers, to me it’s like I’m going to school. So he’s just like another teacher to me.”
The rap kingpin and his brother Malice first came to fame in 2002 as the duo Clipse. They released a string of acclaimed albumsand singles produced by The Neptunes, like “Grindin‘” and “When the Last Time” Pusha is also notorious for going toe-to-toe with Drake via the savage 2018 track “Story of Adidon.”
