The Tennessee Titans are reportedly getting back some help on offense this week. On Saturday, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported that the Titans plan to activate wide receiver Julio Jones off of injured reserve, and that he will play Sunday when Tennessee hosts the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jones’ first year in Tennessee hasn’t gone according to plan, but his hamstring injury has apparently healed and he will be available for the rest of the regular season. In just six games played, Jones has caught 21 passes for 336 yards. He’s still searching for his first touchdown in two-tone blue.

The Titans officially placed Jones on IR four weeks ago after the hamstring injury that had plagued him all season wasn’t getting any better. The 32-year-old’s return is welcomed news for a Titans team that is without A.J. Brown and Derrick Henry. The 8-4 Titans have dropped two straight games, and had the No. 1 seed in the AFC stolen from them by the surging New England Patriots. Additionally, the 7-6 Indianapolis Colts are closing the gap in the division race.

With Brown still on IR, Sunday will provide the first opportunity for the former Falcon to play the role of No. 1 wide receiver in Tennessee’s offense.
