Trae Tha Truth reunites with missing daughter: ‘Never Let No One Tell You GOD Aint Real’

Trae Tha Truth has reunited with his daughter Truth four months after he announced she was missing.

On Instagram, he said he received a call that she had been found on New Year’s Day, further telling TMZ that authorities reached out to him after Truth’s mother was arrested on child endangerment charges in El Centro, California. He says he took the next flight from Texas to San Diego and drove to El Centro, where he picked Truth up.

Trae shared a video of the reunion on Instagram alongside a caption describing how this experience has strengthened his faith.

“Never Let No One Tell You GOD Aint Real!!!! The First Day Of 2025 I Received A Call That I Couldn’t Believe… (THEY SAID SHE WAS FOUND) I Know GOD is the ONLY REASON I Held On when I wanted to Give Up,” he wrote. “I Had To Let Go And Trust Him, Tho it was Hard in these Last Past Months I was Completely Broken and Empty… I Learned To Have Faith…. Tho i didn’t know where Truth Was , I Knew God Was Protecting Her so that was The Beginning Of My Understanding Faith…. I Have to let tha world Know GOD IS THE ONLY REASON IM REUNITED WIT MY TWIN AND HEART!!”

Trae announced his daughter was missing in August and hired a private investigator to help with his search, which he detailed in his song “Letter to Truth, Pt. 2.”

He tells TMZ he’s back in Texas with Truth, whose mother had fled before getting caught. She will soon be extradited to the state.
