(GK) Zack Steffen |

Will hate to have conceded, but he wasn’t to blame. Had a little injury scare in the first half but really didn’t have much to worry about. |
6 |
(DEF) Shaq Moore |
90 |
Led the team with six interceptions, putting in a good 90-minute shift after just flying into camp. Recovered the ball a team-high seven times and earned himself more minutes. |
7 |
(DEF) Walker Zimmerman |
90 |
He’s just a monster. While he didn’t have to do anything in defense, really, he still looked good in the air and drew the penalty which got the scoring started. |
7 |
(DEF) Miles Robinson |
65 |
Like Zimmerman, he helped draw a penalty, and he also won every tackle, duel and aerial challenge. He’s cemented his spot as a starter. |
8 |
(DEF) Antonee Robinson |

Such a lively player who is really progressing. Won most of his duels and always tracked back well. He also delivered in some great passes, recording two assists. |
8 |
(MID) Tyler Adams |
71 |
A true leader who potentially prevented a red card for Christian Pulisic, by pulling him away from a fight. He’s just so calm on the ball and is the heart of that midfield. A calming presence. |
8 |
(MID) Yunus Musah |
45 |
Just not the same player without Weston McKennie next to him. Lasted 45 minutes and touched the ball 15 times. Quiet. |
3 |
(MID) Luca de la Torre |
90 |
He didn’t create much, but he did play some very smart passes that led to some great chances. Earning a spot as a rotation player. |
6 |
(FWD) Christian Pulisic |
71 |
What can you say? Sure, two of his goals were PKs, but they were high-pressure and he took them with class. His third goal was filthy, and he showed up when most needed. |
9 |
(FWD) Paul Arriola |
45 |
Played 45 minutes and got both a goal and an assist before seemingly picking up a knock. A great shift that really boosts his stock. |
7 |
(FWD) Jesus Ferreira |
90 |
Scored an easy goal but missed some real sitters. Lacking a tad of confidence when needed, but there is a lot of potential there. |
6 |
Gio Reyna |
Arriola (46′) |
Almost scored off the bench but did not get on the ball as much as he would have liked. Deserves an extra point for that sharp haircut. |
6 |
Kellyn Acosta |
Musah (46′) |
Brought in to solidify the middle defensively and did just that. Never flashy but quite effective. |
6 |
Aaron Long |
M. Robinson (65′) |
Making the most of his backup role with some decent performances. Always strong in the air, that confidence is still there. He could be a key piece. |
6 |
Gianluca Busio | Pulisic (71′) | His first touch was a tad off but got into space well. | 5 |
Jordan Morris | Adams (71′) | Incredible intensity and effort in a short stint. | 5 |
Gregg Berhalter |

Can’t ask for much more. For the first time in a while, they came out with an intensity and determination that we really hadn’t seen. They feel more united by the day, and that’s a great sign. |
