WWE SmackDown is back on USA Network for the first time since 2019. SmackDown joins its sibling brand WWE Raw on the network before the red brand moves to Netflix next year.

SmackDown wrapped up its five-year run on Fox last Friday ahead of the “season premiere” on USA Network. The blue brand will highlight the move with a huge steel cage match. Cody Rhodes defends the undisputed WWE championship against Solo Sikoa in the steel structure.

WWE and USA Network struck a deal to bring SmackDown back to the channel last September. According to Variety, the deal between WWE and USA Network is reportedly worth about $1.4 billion, up from the $1 billion Fox paid in 2019. WWE will also produce four primetime specials each year for NBC, the first time WWE will air in primetime on the network.

SmackDown’s return means that USA Network, the on-and-off home of Raw dating back to its 1993 premiere, will stay in the professional wrestling game. WWE signed a deal this past January to take Raw to the streaming service Netflix in January 2025.

Take a look at all the information you need ahead of SmackDown’s season premiere tonight.
