In a tough away match, Real Madrid will look to get Kylian Mbappe his first league goal for the club as they visit Las Palmas. While Los Blancos have gotten off to an undefeated start in league play, Mbappe doesn’t have a goal to show for it. The attack is still in good hands with so many options to go around and Endrick coming off the bench, but the team will go as far as Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior can take them. With expectations to win everything in their path, Los Blancos look for more consistency.

Here are our storylines, how you can watch the match and more:

How to watch and odds

  • Date: Thursday, Aug. 29 | Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
  • Location: Estadio de Gran Canaria — Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain
  • Live stream: ESPN+
  • Odds: La Palmas +750; Draw +380; Real Madrid -280

Storylines

Las Palmas: It has been a less-than-ideal start to the season for Las Palmas conceding four goals in two matches and it won’t get any easier with Real Madrid coming to town. New striker Ollie McBurnie will be needed against the Real Madrid defense while Sandro Ramirez’s shots from outside the box will be something to watch for.

Team: With Bellingham still sidelined with an injury, Arda Guler could be in line for another start in the center of the park for Madrid. The 19-year-old was bright in Real Madrid’s victory over Valladolid and featuring in matches now will only help the Champions League prospects for Los Blancos.

Prediction

While we’ll be in for another slow start from Real Madrid, they’ll get the job done by putting three goals past Las Palmas. Pick: Las Palmas 0, Real Madrid 3
