BOOMER KIA AND SOONER KIA INK NIL DEAL WITH THREE OKLAHOMA SOONER FOOTBALL PLAYERS.
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK; AUGUST 23, 2022: Boomer Kia in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Sooner Kia, in Norman, Oklahoma, have inked Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) deals with three University of Oklahoma football players. Jalil Farooq is a Sophomore Wide Receiver from Lanham, Maryland. Anton Harrison is a Junior starting Left Tackle from Washington DC. Kelvin Gilliam is a Redshirt Freshman Defensive Lineman from Richmond, Virginia.
“We’re excited to partner with these Oklahoma Sooner players to help market our local dealerships in the community.” Said Aaron Leger, Owner & General Manager of Boomer Kia and Sooner Kia. “It’s a win-win partnership for our business and the athletes. We are both able to expand our recognition and fanbase in the community, and we’re thrilled to be some of the first dealerships in the nation to sign NIL deals with student-athletes.”
As part of the NIL deal, Sooner Kia will host a public event with all three athletes on Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Top Golf, located at 13313 Pawnee Drive, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73114.
