How to watch North Carolina vs. Georgia State: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Saturday’s NCAA Football game

Through 3 Quarters

A great path to victory is to simply outgain your opponent on the field, and that’s working so far for the North Carolina Tar Heels (with 468 yards vs. 163 yards). After three quarters it’s looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Georgia State Panthers as the Tar Heels lead 45-10. QB Sam Howell has led the way so far for UNC, as he has passed for two TDs and 305 yards on 25 attempts in addition to rushing for two TDs and 104 yards.

UNC has been riding high on the performance of Howell, who has passed for two TDs and 305 yards on 25 attempts in addition to rushing for two TDs and 104 yards. Howell had some trouble finding his footing against the Virginia Tech Hokies last week, so this is a step in the right direction.

Both UNC and Georgia State suffered losses in their previous contests, but UNC is closer to making up for it this week. The Tar Heels are out front, but they can’t get complacent.

Who’s Playing

Georgia State @ No. 13 North Carolina

Current Records: Georgia State 0-1; North Carolina 0-1

Last Season Records: North Carolina 8-4; Georgia State 6-4

What to Know

The Georgia State Panthers will square off against the North Carolina Tar Heels at 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday at Kenan Memorial Stadium. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.

The day started off rough for Georgia State last week, and it ended that way, too. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 43-10 punch to the gut against the Army West Point Black Knights. It was supposed to be a close game, and the Panthers were supposed to come out on top, but neither of those things ended up happening. Their only offensive touchdown came from RB Destin Coates.

Meanwhile, UNC came up short against the Virginia Tech Hokies last Friday, falling 17-10. QB Sam Howell had a pretty forgettable game, throwing three interceptions.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. Check back to see which squad is able to work their way into the win column.
